Congratulations to the Class of 2012 for bringing in the most money for the 2008-09 Magazine Drive. Chris Micheli’s homeroom came away with a record-setting four Gold Medals: Greatest Sales on Opening Day; Highest Student Participation; Most Orders in Totals, and Top Total Sales. Senior Homeroom 12 C had the best sales for the Upper Division. Top Student Sales was Arianna Borsoni. Diana Campbell and Kathleen Brennan also brought in more than 20 orders. Thanks to everyone for your participation.
The Halloween Dance Party was Spook-tacular. The Parent Association helped produce a fun-filled evening. Special thanks to Danice Rausse, Jerri Rausse, Susan Porter, Cindy Walters, Leslie Gomez and Vanessa Greer for working the dance, snack bar, and decorating Notre Dame Hall.
Proud to Be a Pilot week took place Nov. 17-21. The theme this year was “Be a Responsible Citizen—Go Green.” The sophomores hosted the P2BAP dance. The Fall and Winter sports teams were recognized and the new cheer squad was introduced during the P2BAP/Sports Rally.
The Junior CLT and Campus Ministry office planned the Thanksgiving liturgy. The juniors will also run the school wide canned food drive this year. Please support the juniors as they step up to lead this important community service project.
Campus ministry is also meeting with Sister Philomena from St. Joseph Elementary to plan a joint celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on Dec. 8. More details will be coming.
All liturgies are Liturgy Dress. This means shirts, ties and dress slacks for gentlemen and dress, skirt or dress slacks for the ladies. Uniform bottoms can be dressed up with the appropriate top. No sandals.
SJND has arranged to make carpooling information available to our families through eRideshare.com. Families register their carpooling needs and check the listing other families enter to make the necessary arrangements. Your information is secure. Only SJND families have access to the SJND group site. If you are interested in posting your information, please email Mrs. Kuznik for the link, group name, and the necessary password.

The first payment for Grad Nite has been sent to our trip coordinator. There are a few seniors who have not made a payment for the trip. Please contact Mrs. Kuznik if there is a family circumstance influencing your senior’s decision to attend.
Senior Portraits must be taken by Dec. 7 to meet the yearbook deadline.
Senior Parent Breakfast is Nov. 15 at the Grand Pavilion. Invitations from the Parents’ Association have been mailed home. Tickets should be purchased through the online ticketing site.
Check with the counseling office for all the college admissions deadlines.
