AP 2D Art and Design

This year-long (10 unit) course is available to qualified students.  Students who earn a 70% or higher in this course will earn an extra grade point toward their grade point average.  Students who take this course must submit a portfolio that meets the Advanced Placement requirements to the College Board in May. In order to be eligible to take this course, students must sign up on Schoology after attending the AP/Honors Information Session during collaboration, schedule a portfolio review meeting with the VAPA Chair, AND attend the mandatory AP Information Night in February. Students must have earned a minimum unweighted grade of B+ in the previous two year’s Visual Arts courses AND receive Instructor approval.
