Admissions Criteria
The Admissions Committee considers each applicant for the incoming ninth-grade class based on the student’s desire to attend Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School, High School Placement Test (HSPT) scores, middle school standardized test scores, seventh and eighth-grade report cards (academics, attendance, conduct, effort), school report by principal or designated official, and language and mathematics placement recommendations.
While we offer a comprehensive and rigorous college preparatory curriculum, we have a vast array of academic and counseling support services to enable each student at SJND to thrive and excel. More information may be found on our Counseling page.
Eligibility for tenth and eleventh transfer applicants will be determined by an interview, high school transcript, standardized test scores, letters of recommendation, and our ability to provide a program of studies that will meet graduation requirements. We do not accept twelfth-grade transfers. Please contact us for more information.
