For over fifteen years, Coach Sam Howard has had a passion for volleyball, playing since high school and coaching at Bay Area clubs since 2019. He is thrilled to lead a talented and driven group of athletes and looks to continue their winning ways. Coach Sam encourages individual strengths on and off the court, from intensive conditioning to building confidence and rapport, and believes in a comprehensive approach that prepares players for any position or role.

Andy Huynh is excited to be back at SJND coaching the Girls Varsity Volleyball team! Currently in college, Andy plays for San Francisco’s National 9man Volleyball team and has been involved in the sport for about five years, both as a player and a coach. Passionate about building a strong, competitive team rooted in hard work, trust, and positivity, Andy values SJND’s tight-knit community and the opportunity to help student-athletes grow on and off the court. He looks forward to a great season and to getting to know more of the amazing faculty, staff, and students throughout the year.
