Coach Larry Donovan came to Alameda when he was assigned to an aircraft carrier based at the former Alameda Naval Air Station. He has a long-standing relationship with golf, including caddying while in high school, playing golf recreationally both at home and abroad, and has supported SJND Golf in the past as an assistant golf coach for both the boys and girls teams. He is a proud parent of SJND alum Joseph Donovan (’21), who played four years on the boys golf team.
