Teamwork is critical to the success of all team sports, none more so than volleyball where our team develops a cohesive and adaptable style to excel in this fast-paced, action-packed spectacle.

Head Coach

Allan Nguyen

Allan Nguyen graduated from Oakland High School in 2016 after helping bring home an undefeated league championship season in which he was named to the First Team. Allan graduated from Diablo Valley College with associates degree in allied health and natural health. He earned his bachelor’s in public health from San Jose State University.

Allan's coaching career at SJND began in 2022 and he helped lead the boys program to an undefeated season in league, along with the league championship in spring 2023. The team’s season ended as semifinalists in NCS. Allan has been a coach for Red Rock Volleyball Club in Alameda since 2018.
