MASKS ON CAMPUS – Starting March 12, 2022, masks will be "strongly recommended" on campus but optional for students, faculty/staff, and visitors. Please see the updated letter from Andrew Currier, the Superintendent of the Department of Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Oakland.

DAILY HEALTH SCREENINGS – Effective immediately, students and faculty/staff will no longer need to do the Daily Health Screening. We ask that you continue to keep your student home if they experience any Covid-like symptoms, and please alert us if they have a Covid positive diagnosis.

COVID PROTOCOL AND TRACKING – The Covid Liaisons will continue to provide you with direction on quarantining and isolating as necessary, as well as continue to send out "Exposure" notices using the Group Tracing process. We recommend that if you come back to campus after a positive Covid diagnosis, you should continue to mask through day 10. Likewise, we recommend that you keep your mask on if you are "exposed" to a positive Covid case.

If you have any questions about our ongoing Covid-19 protocol, please contact Covid Liaison Kris Venturini at or 510-995-9417.

Healthy Safety Highlights Include

  • Masks are now required as part of our dress code.
  • In person classes will be limited to comply with proper social distancing guidelines.
  • Classrooms with an overflow of students will be separated into two different rooms and the teacher’s lesson will be live streamed between the two spaces.
  • The campus will be equipped with hand sanitizers and electro spraying machines.
  • Additional water heaters are being installed.
  • If necessary, on campus access will be limited to certain grade levels and closed for outside vendors/visits.

While on campus, we will be following county guidelines regarding physical distancing protocols. If a class size is too large to safely accommodate one classroom, they will be divided into two rooms and the teacher will be livestreamed into the second room. The second room will be supervised by a proctor. Example:
