Pilot Alums Celebrate New College Degrees

College graduation season was upon us; we celebrate our Pilot alumni who have earned new degrees! Thank you to all of the following alums who shared their good news with us:

Teddy Eusebio ’09 (above) graduated from University California, San Diego ’13 with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and cellular biology. This spring he graduated from University of Michigan with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and will be doing a one year general practice residency at the University of Michigan Hospital to better equip himself to treat medically compromised and special needs patients.

While at SJND, he was involved in Link Crew, FASO and played on the tennis team all for years. At UCSD he managed a student-run free dental clinic where they treated homeless and veteran patients. He also volunteered as a dental assistant on the USNS Mercy Hospital ship where they provided free dental care to people of Cambodia and Vietnam.

Kristina Lovato-Hermann ’96 earned her Ph.D in social welfare from UCLA's School of Public Affairs in June 2017. Her research aims to enhance the well-being of children and families impacted by immigration and/or child welfare involvement. She will be starting a new position as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at CSU Long Beach in the fall. 

Allison Ganci ’13 graduated from Santa Clara University.

Annie Mooney ’11 graduated with a Master of Science degree in speech language pathology from Northwestern University.

Jenna Vacca ’13 graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in kinesiology and a minor in english.

Madison Whitton ’13 graduated from California State University, San Diego.

Aubrey Williams ’13 graduated from St. Mary’s College of California.

Daniel Marquez ’13 graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor’s Degree in biology and a minor in chemistry.


Emily Stott ’13 graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in business management with a minor in international studies.

Michelle Seiwald ’13 graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology.

Rose Lassalle-Klein'13 celebrated her graduation from Seattle University with a degree in microbiology with her parents and brother Peter ’17 and sister Cate ’12.

Rose Lassalle-Klein ’13 with Louis Rodrigues ’13 celebrate their graduation from Seattle University. Rose will be applying to medical school and Louis received his degree in political science.

Shannon Atthowe ’11 graduated from California State University, East Bay.

Gemeny Givens ’12 graduated from St. Mary’s College in California with a degree in marketing.


Holly McAdams ’13 celebrating her graduation from St. Mary’s College of California with a degree in psychology with her mom, Christina McAdams Bertelsen ’82, sister Stephanie ’16 and dad Joe McAdams.

Akaela Magno Ordinario ’13 graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and will be working as a second grade teacher at St. John’s Elementary School in San Lorenzo.

Teresa Mooney ’09 graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Andrea Serles ’13 graduated from California State University, Sonoma.
