Campus Ministry Executive Board

The Campus Ministry Executive Board (CMEB) is the student group responsible for morning prayer, the planning of liturgies and the 9th and 11th grade retreats, and general peer ministry needs.

Retreat leaders are chosen among the junior and senior classes to accompany students in their retreat experience. They undergo in-depth training to prepare themselves for the responsibility and privilege of walking alongside their peers and witnessing their spiritual journeys.

Campus Life Team

The Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School Campus Life Team is made up of students who are committed to making SJND a positive, inclusive, spirited community. They serve as leaders of their school and their division. The Associated Student Body Executive Board (ASB) is charged with planning all school wide assemblies and activities. The Campus Ministry Executive Board (CMEB) leads all spiritual and religious activities on campus. Division Council representatives are in charge of all class related activities. Additionally, division reps work with ASB and CMEB to promote school wide activities. Students who run for ASB and are not elected may still run for division CLT without filling out any additional applications. Please see the CLT Constitution for more information.

All interested students must submit an online application and an election packet in April. Students will give a 2-3 minute multimedia presentation to their peers and students will be elected onto council based on popular vote.

Ambassador Leadership Team

The Ambassador Leadership Team works in support of the SJND admissions department to assist prospective students and families with the high school search and decision process. Becoming part of the Ambassador Leadership Team is an opportunity to serve your school and community through leading and participating in outreach events, campus visits, mentoring freshmen and sophomore student ambassadors, and sharing your Pilot experience. This collaborative team will learn to demonstrate skills in leadership, project management, public speaking, and commitment. Please direct all questions to hgraybeal@sjnd.org

ALT leaders are responsible for attending monthly meetings and a variety of admissions events including elementary and middle school class visits, phone-a-thons, information nights, Open House, family interviews, Pilot Preview Day, Pilot Welcome Night and HSPT prep events.

SJND Rainbow Coalition

SJND Rainbow Coalition:

“Students for Equity & Justice”

The SJND Rainbow Coalition is a student leadership group that seeks to improve our school community and make it a place where ALL students feel a sense of belonging, pride, respect, and understanding. The Rainbow Coalition collaborates with affinity groups, student clubs, and the faculty/staff to promote equity on campus through diversity and inclusion practices. Some activities that the SJND Rainbow Coalition helps lead on campus include: Cultural Assemblies, Diversity Week, Fundraisers, Holding Open Student Forums, Reviewing Student Policies, and Student Culture Surveys.

Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT)

SALT members help the Athletic Department by consulting on decisions, showing initiative by proposing and implementing projects to enhance the sports experience for the SJND community, and showing leadership through recruitment and support of SJND athletes. SALT is comprised of elected committee members who have participated in an interview, completed a short essay about leadership, and submitted two recommendations (one from a student and one from a teacher). SALT members meet once a month in person.

Sports Management and Media Team

The Sports Management and Media team is a group of students in varying roles, producing media to enhance the sports experience for the SJND community. This includes developing game/meet reports, promoting upcoming events, and broadcasting events through live-streaming platforms. The Sports Management and Media team will meet weekly in person.
